FRP Pultruded Tube is produced using the pultrusion process, which allows us to customize the tube according to your specifications. Pultrusion material is easier to design with, longer lasting and a safer product for the end user than othermaterials, like steel and aluminum. Because pultrusion material is lightweight and strong, it is often much more efficient than steel, aluminum or structural timber.Pultrusion is up to 75% lighter than steel but just as strong.
Production process is a continuous production process to produce fiber reinforced polymer profiles of any length and constant section. Reinforcement fibers may be roving, continuous mat, woven roving,carbon or others.
The fibers are impregnated with a polymer matrix (resin, color paste, yarn,surface felt) and passed through a preforming station that produces the stratification necessary to give the profile the desired properties. After the pre-forming step, the resin impregnated fibers are pulled through a heated die to polymerize the resin.
